Pakistan and Belarus have entered into major agreements this week, focusing on energy, industrial cooperation, and communications, state-run media reported on Sunday.
Pakistan’s Communications Minister, Abdul Aleem Khan, visited Minsk on Thursday for a two-day trip aimed at strengthening trade and investment partnerships between the two nations. During his visit, Khan emphasized the importance of establishing trade corridors to enhance connectivity with Central Asia through routes in Pakistan, China, Afghanistan, or Iran.
According to Radio Pakistan, the agreements involve joint initiatives in energy infrastructure, industrial collaboration, and postal services. These partnerships are set to be further formalized during the upcoming visit of Pakistan’s prime minister to Belarus.

At the signing ceremony held on Friday, Khan underscored the goal of translating prior discussions into tangible progress, particularly in areas such as transport networks and energy solutions.
Belarusian Energy Minister Denis Moroz reiterated his country’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Pakistan across diverse sectors.
