MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has expressed the hope that other countries would also revisit their travel advisory for Pakistan like United Kingdom.
While talking to journalists in Multan, FM Qureshi said that UK’s decision to revise its travel advisory is due to the significant improvement in security situation of Pakistan.
He said that the government is committed to project the positive image of Pakistan internationally, adding that people from around the world are taking keen interest to visit Pakistan.
FM Qureshi said that prospects of investment in the tourism industry have also increased, which will be helpful to deal with the issue of unemployment in the country.

The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan should be taken off the grey list as it has made considerable progress on the requirements of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
He said, “Pakistan presented all of the practical steps we have taken in the past 10 months in front of the member nations,” adding that everyone appreciated government efforts.
FM Qureshi said that all countries except India agreed that progress has been made by Pakistan.
