TEXAS: Eight people have been reportedly died in Travis Scott’s Astroworld incident that happened after a crowd surge on the opening night of a music festival in Houston.
Mirza Danish Baig from Karachi was one among 8 who died in the Astroworld incident. His brother Ammar Baig said, “He died trying to save his fiancée Olivia Swingle.” Ammar explained how his 27-year-old brother was separated from his 25-year-old fiancée amid the stampede in the concert.
However, “He managed to get it to where she was able to get out.” Ammar further added “Somehow, the ambulance managed to get to her and then, by the time they got to my brother, they tried resuscitating him. And they said that before they got to the hospital, he couldn’t make it.”

Moreover, one of the emergency officials said, Panic broke out after the crowd began to press towards the front of the stage at rapper Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival. Eleven people were taken to hospitals in cardiac arrest and eight died.
Meanwhile, US TV star Kylie Jenner had clarified on her partner’s Astroworld incident, saying ‘we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show.” She further mentioned, “Travis and I are broken and devastated.”
“My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured, or were affected in any way by yesterday’s events. And also for Travis, who I know cares deeply for his fans and the Houston community.” She added.
Kylie along with Kendall Jenner had attended the concert with her three-year-old daughter Stormi. Kylie is also expecting her second baby with her partner Travis.
