None else, it’s China

Munir Ahmed by Munir Ahmed
June 29, 2020
Over the years we have seen along with the world Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi roaring against Pakistan thrice a day, threatening dire consequences of what Pakistan has nothing to do with.
Firstly, the indigenous Kashmir movement that is being run by their own people against the atrocities of the Indian army present in the occupied Kashmir valley that is under a severe form of curfew since August 2019. The worst form of violation has been seen in India Occupied Kashmir that has been reported condemned in the reports of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, and the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). Hundreds of other human rights organizations have also condemned the brutalities by the Indian government in its country and against Kashmiris in the IoK. But, nothing happened.
Secondly, India’s false accusation on Pakistan is the so-called terrorism in India that is actually the impact of Modi’s own adverse policies against his own countrymen for one conflict or the other. Not only faith-based discrimination against Muslims in India and Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) but for other marginalized communities and territories within their own geographic limits. There are some examples in recent years that Modi’s India is also good at orchestrating terrorism ‘dramas’ to accuse Pakistan and Muslims in the region. But what is not hidden in the unprovoked firing on the Line of Control (LOC) and other borders with Pakistan.
Somehow, Pakistan keeps on managing the damage control with preemptive measures on the frontlines besides patiently giving responsible and befitting response as per internationally approved protocols and norms though the limited reaction is not acceptable to any citizen in Pakistan. That has given undue courage to the Indian cowards deputed on the Pakistan borders and their fathers sitting far back in their luxurious abodes.
Pakistan’s aspiration of peace in the region is misunderstood by the Indian army and other strategist institutions. When China opted for a reconciliation policy with its neighboring countries and played politely with India too for the sake of good neighborhood and socio-economic interests, the gesture was taken for granted. The result we have seen some days back in the Galvan valley in Ladakh. The Chinese foreign office claimed that some Indian troops entered into the Chinese part and had a scuffle with the Chinese troops that turned to a severe fight for days and ended with the killing of 20 Indian soldiers, and no loss of life to china except some Chinese troops were wounded.
Interestingly, the Indian opposition was shouting on the media against (Prime Minister) Narendra Modi but he was cowardly hiding from the situation. A couple of days back the world watched and heard a babbling of a baby called Modi, said to be a barbarian Prime Minister for unarmed, innocent, and lesser citizens – the Muslims in India and the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). He came out of his hibernation on the insistence of his opposition parties to record his statement against the killing of 20 Indian troops in the Galvan valley in Ladakh beaten to death by the Chinese border force.
Modi who may be termed as a poisonous source of hatred-based political pandemic in Asia murmured in front of the cameras last Wednesday for the first time after the violent clash between India and China in the Galvan Valley over the Line of Actual Control (LAC): “The soldiers who have been ‘martyred’ will not go in vain. We should be proud of our soldiers, they have been killed by beating [not by shooting] and their sacrifices will not go in vain. One should not have confusion or any doubt, India is capable of providing reasonable answers on provocation. India wants peace but also knows how to respond. I want to assure the country that the sacrifice of our soldiers will not go in vain. India will not compromise its integrity. Our soldiers are dead by beating.”
The soaring situation and humiliation in Galvan valley have marred India’s unopposed winning of nonpermanent Asia-Pacific seat in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).  Though India would be sitting on the same table with China in the UNSC but as a humiliated country. India should remember that none else, it is China that could not be snubbed, terrorized, or bullied on borders. So be careful while flaring up tensions on a fairly regular basis against China over the 3,500-kilometre (2,200-mile) frontier that has never been properly demarcated. Both countries should agree to do the needful as soon as possible to avoid another June 15 military clash at the border.
