Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that double standards are applied in the case of Israel. No one talks about the rule of law.
In his address regarding Israeli aggression against Iran, Ishaq Dar said that when it comes to Israel, no one talks about the rule of law or the consequences of illegal actions. Israel cannot be allowed to jeopardize regional peace.
Ishaq Dar demanded that the exemptions given to Israel should now end. Israeli aggression against Iran is not a minor incident, and Iran has the right to defend itself in response to unprovoked Israeli attacks.
He said that Pakistan expressed full solidarity with Iran at the Security Council meeting and demanded urgent action from the Security Council to stop Israeli aggression. Unfortunately, the Security Council appeared paralyzed in halting Israeli aggression.
The Deputy Prime Minister further said that Pakistan supported and will continue to support other measures to stop Israeli aggression. Pakistan supports a peaceful resolution to Tehran’s nuclear issue. He expressed hope that the OIC meeting would reaffirm unwavering support for Iran and that a clear message would be sent from the meeting to hold Israel accountable.
