The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has introduced a new feature called the “Balance Save Service” to protect mobile users’ balance. The aim is to prevent unnecessary deduction of balance when internet data runs out.
Typically, once a user’s internet package expires, mobile companies begin charging for data on a “pay-as-you-go” basis, deducting from the available balance. This often results in significant amounts being consumed within minutes. With this new service activated, internet access will automatically be cut off as soon as the data bundle is exhausted, ensuring that the user’s balance remains protected.
Stay smart, stay protected
Avoid unexpected balance deductions by activating the Balance Save (PAYG Blocker) on your SIM. Once your data bundle ends, your internet stops automatically, saving your balance!Dial now:

All major telecom operators have issued specific codes to activate this service.
Jazz users can dial *275#, Zong users can dial *4004#, Ufone users can dial *6611#, and Telenor users can dial *342# to enable the feature.
According to PTA, activating this “balance lock” will protect users from unexpected deductions once their data bundle ends, an issue that has long been a major complaint among Pakistani telecom consumers.
