ISLAMABAD : The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Friday approved a Rs4.49 per unit hike in power tariff for K-Electric (KE) consumers, giving verdict on federal government’s request to introduce uniform consumer-end tariff.
On December 27, it may be recalled, NEPRA heard Federal Government’s request to apply quarterly tariff adjustment in KE consumer bills. This request was made to maintain a uniform tariff for all electricity users in the country.
