ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority has issued an alert regarding unexpected weather in the coming days, indicating the possibility of rain and snowfall in many areas.
NDMA said that light to moderate rain may occur due to a light westerly wave moving towards Balochistan. Meanwhile, rain, thundershowers, and snowfall may occur in the mountains in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Potohar.
In addition to rain in central and southern Punjab, it is predicted to remain cloudy in most areas from March 8 to 10. Snowfall is also expected in northern areas of Pakistan, which may result in road closures, so tourists It has been advised to travel to the northern regions.
According to the weather forecast from March 10 to 12, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in South and North Balochistan including Kech, Gwadar, and Quetta.
Similar weather conditions are predicted in the western and upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir, while the rest of the country is expected to remain dry.
