ISLAMABAD: Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said has said that the bail of former premier Nawaz Sharif and ex-president Asif Zardari was not important.
Fawad Chaudhry statement came after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted bail to Zardari on medical grounds in the fake bank accounts case.
In his tweet, Chaudhry wrote, “The bail of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari is insignificant as both of them have lost their role in Pakistan’s political future.”

He added, “The real interest of the people is how will the recovery be made from the accused ones.” He further added, “How will the billions of stolen rupees will be recovered.”

Earlier today, the IHC granted Zardari bail on the medical grounds in the fake bank accounts case and ordered to submit surety bonds worth Rs 10 million.
Zardari approached the court on December 5 seeking bail on medical grounds in the fake bank accounts reference.
