RAWALPINDI: Former President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that the founder of PTI is the most popular leader in the world and the nation stands with Imran Khan.
Arif Alvi said in a press conference that those who were involved on May 9 were punished. He said that PTI also said that the involved persons should be punished.
Arif Alvi said that former Army Chief Qamar Bajwa had said that the army will not participate in politics. He said that everyone knew how the army interfered in the election, which damaged the image of the army.
“Nation stands with PTI founder,” he said by adding that the mandate given to PTI should be respected.
It should be noted that yesterday, events were held throughout the country regarding the tragedy of May 9th last year, in which the political and military leadership once again reiterated their determination to give severe punishment to the elements involved in the events of May 9.
