KARACHI: Nation observes the 71st death anniversary of the father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah today.
To mark the day, government representatives from different walks of life would visit the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi to lay floral wreaths and offer prayers.
Besides politicians and, representatives of the three services will lay wreaths at the mausoleum on behalf of their respective chiefs. Governor Imran Ismail and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will also visit the mausoleum to pay their respects.
The founder of Pakistan was Born on December 25th, 1876, he served as leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until Pakistan’s creation on August 14, 1947. He then served as Pakistan’s first Governor-General until his death.
