National Database and Registration Authority has announced a four-day nationwide closure of its offices from March 20 to March 23, 2026, in observance of Eid-ul-Fitr and Pakistan Day.
According to the official notification, all NADRA offices will remain shut from Friday through Monday, with regular operations resuming on Tuesday, March 24 at 8:00 AM. Offices following a five-day work schedule will close at midnight between March 19 and 20.
The authority also said that its 24/7 centers will observe the same holiday period, reopening on the morning of March 24. Overseas NADRA offices and service counters will follow the holiday schedules of their respective embassies.
Despite the closures, citizens will still be able to access services online through the Pak ID mobile application during the holidays.
Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is set to meet on Thursday evening to sight the Shawwal crescent, marking the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid festivities.
The meeting will be chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad in Islamabad, with zonal committees in major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta holding parallel meetings to observe the moon.
