Bollywood movie ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor, which has been released today has been stuck in controversies.
Among the controversies, the movie stealing Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq’s song was one of them. Filmmaker Karan Johar not only used Haq’s Nach Punjaban in Jug Jugg Jeeyo without his permission but also lied about copyrights. Abrar ul Haq later decided to sue the Indian filmmaker and claimed that he never gave the copyrights of his song to the production house.
Now, while promoting the movie, Varun Dhawan has ended up thanking Abrar ul Haq for the song and said that the song is very good. Dhawan also managed to maintain that the production company did buy the rights for it. According to the actor, the song is doing well for them as the original had done before it.
