LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on complaints of abuse of power on 12th August.
According to sources, NAB summoned the Punjab chief minister on complaints about the issuance of illegal alcohol permits. Usman Buzdar has been directed to appear at 11 am.

Earlier this week, Usman Buzdar ordered a strict action against hoarders to curb hoarding and artificial inflation in Punjab. He warned that he will not tolerate any negligence and said that people cannot be left at the mercy of hoarders.
He directed the officials to show no leniency to anyone who is found involved in profiteering. He also directed to activate price control committees at the district level to curb grand selling and hoarding.
