ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has released details of flats bought in London by Leader of the Opposition and PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif during his exile.
According to a document released by the NAB, Shehbaz Sharif bought four flats in the UK for 1,331,007 during his exile and borrowed from businessmen, Barclays Bank, niece Asma Dar, and others.
According to a document released by the Accountability Bureau, the flat in London was bought in 2005 for 35,235,000, with 75,75,000 borrowed from a businessman and 60,160,000 from Barclays Bank.
According to the document, the second flat was bought in London in 2007 for 60 160,000, a 16,075 business loan for the flat, and a 43 143,000 loan from Barclays Bank.

NAB documents state that the third flat was purchased in 2007 for 50 650,000, with a 40,000 loan from a businessman and a 47 547,114 loan from Barclays Bank. During his exile, Shehbaz Sharif bought the fourth flat in London in 2009 for 86 286,000, for which the businessman lent him 30 230,607.
