KARACHI: A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has raided the residence of Sindh Chief Minister Adviser on Prisons Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani in the city during the wee hours on Wednesday.
According to NAB, Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani is accused of holding assets excessive to his declared sources of income. The bureau team came to his residence with police and Rangers personnel.
According to sources, the NAB team conducted the raid for a few hours at the PPP leader’s house and then took files from his residence.
Last month, NAB had arrested Ghulam Abbas Jakhrani. He is Aijaz Jakhrani’s cousin and a former chairman of Jacobabad Municipal Corporation.
