KARACHI: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is holding politicians unilaterally accountable.
Speaking to the media outside the court on the occasion of his appearance in the case related to illegal recruitment, Shahid Khaqan said that there was a spectacle all over the country. “In our cases, it is not corruption but abuse of power. Pakistan and NAB cannot go together,” he said.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that NAB is used to suppress politicians. Half of the country’s politicians have been charged with treason. He said that if cases could be registered against us, it could also be against Prime Minister Imran Khan. “I also want to file a case against Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he further said.
The PML-N leader said that a person who does not come from a democratic process always claims to have come from a democratic process.
