RAWALPINDI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has arrested the son of former Gilgit-Baltistan governor Mir Ghazanfar.
NAB has arrested Saleem, son of former Gilgit-Baltistan governor, in a fraud case. He is accused of fraud of five crores from the National Bank.
Accused Saleem will be transferred to NAB Rawalpindi Regional Bureau Gilgit on transit remand. He is indicted for corruption as vice chairman of a private company called Silk Route.
Saleem took a loan of Rs 5 crore from the National Bank on fake documents. Prince Saleem did not appear before the NAB despite being summoned several times.

Moreover, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir was earlier arrested by police in a case regarding a clash outside the NAB office during the hearing of Maryam Nawaz.
Police stopped the vehicle of Imran Nazir on Model Town Link Road and told him that the car was wanted by police in the NAB office clash case. On the arrest, Khawaja Imran said that he is not afraid of such tactics of government and claimed that the PML-N rally on December 13 will be historic.
