ISLAMABAD: The government has approved the bills for the establishment of 26 universities and higher education institutions in the National Assembly, without sending them to the existing committee for approval.
The approved universities and higher education institutions include the Metropolitan International Institute for Science and Technology, Military Institute for Higher Education, Federal Ziauddin University, Indus University for Science and Technology, Institute of Management and Technology, Pak-China Gawadar University Lahore.
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Institute of Health and Allied Sciences, Sheikhpura Institute for Advanced Sciences, Kasur Institute for Science and Technology Islamabad, Bulley Shah International University, Ravi Institute Sahiwal, International Islamic Institute for Peace are also part of the approved list.
Shah Banu Institute Jaranwala, International Memen University, Mother Abiha Institute for Health Sciences, Grand Mufti Islamic University, BBC Institute for Women are also among the approved universities and higher education institutions.
Islamabad International University, Institute for Modern Sciences Islamabad, Al-Beroni International University, National University for Health Emergency Sciences and Technology, National Institute for Technology, Pakistan Institute for Management Sciences and Technology, Horizon University are also part of the approved universities.
