ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has summoned the budget session of the National Assembly on Monday, June 6.
The session will be held at 4 PM at the Parliament House. The federal budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 will be presented in the session on Friday, June 10. The session has been convened under Article 54(1) of the Constitution.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will unveil the government’s economic vision for steering the country out of financial crisis.

The coalition government is likely to face the friendly opposition during the budget session in the absence of the main opposition PTI whose members have announced their resignations.
The government will have smooth sailing for the budget approval from the National Assembly.
