Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has paid glowing tribute to the love, strength, and selfless sacrifices of fathers in the lives of their children.
In her message on Father’s Day on Sunday, the CM said, “A father is like a protective shade who bears the scorching heat himself just to shield his children. He not only teaches them how to live, but how to live with pride and dignity.”
CM Maryam Nawaz expressed her deep respect for all fathers who fulfill their responsibilities with love and devotion. “I extend my salute to every father who provides for his children, protects their rights, and stands by them as a constant support,” she said.
Describing the role of a father, she added, “A father is like a guiding lamp who brings light to every dark corner of his child’s life.”
The CM also shared personal reflections on her father, former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. “My father is my leader, mentor, and source of strength.
His lap was my first school, and his protective shadow has given me courage through every storm,” she added. She said that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s personality is central to her political ideology and personal development. “His values and vision have shaped my thinking and leadership,” she said.
Maryam Nawaz offered a heartfelt prayer, “May every son and daughter be blessed with a father who encourages them to dream big and gives them the strength to turn those dreams into reality.”
