KARACHI: Multan Sultan’s Tim David has taken the cricketing world by storm as he smacked second joint-fastest fifty of Pakistan Super League (PSL) history.
Tim has been in a scintillating form in this year’s PSL, and in today’s clash as well, he showed his absolute brutal hitting by completing the second-fastest half-century of PSL. He stroked half a dozen maximums and two fours in his 18-ball 51.
He came at a time when Sultans were in a good position with Mohammad Rizwan looking well set on one end.
He now holds the record with Irish opener Paul Stirling, who smacked fifty in the same number of balls early this season that too against Zalmi. With his knock, Sultans posted 222/3 in 20 overs as they look to register fifth straight win of HBL PSL 7
Meanwhile, Kamran Akmal and Paul Stirling are the only two batters to have two Top 10 fastest PSL half-centuries.
