KARACHI: Much anticipated drama starring and Sarah Khan ‘Laapata’ is all set to hit TV screens from today.
Besides Ayeza Khan and Sarah Khan, Ali Rehman Khan and Gohar Rasheed will be seen in the lead roles.
From the teasers, it has been learned that Sarah Khan’s character is an athlete who seems to come from a well-to-do family. On the other hand, Ali Rehman Khan is playing the role of a stereotypical man, who divides his time gambling and beating people up.
Earlier this month, Ayeza Khan through several posts on Instagram hinted that her character for the drama will be girl named ‘Gaiti’, who is an aspiring TikTok star. Gohar Rasheed will be playing the role of an artist.
Directed and written by Khizer Idrees, the Laapata drama is produced by Momina Duraid. Moreover, Ayeza Khan had also paid rich tribute to iconic stars Sridevi, Noor Jehan, and Madhuri Dixit as she drew her character’s inspiration from these Divas.
