KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the monsoon system is getting weaker in Sindh province.
On a social media website Twitter, PMD said the existing rain system in Karachi is weakening with most of the wind pressure returning to the sea.
“The return of the wind pressure has resulted in the rain system weakening in the city,” PMD said.
MET Director Sardar Sarfraz informed that the system was still present in some parts of Karachi; however, its intensity was not as high. “Karachi may experience intermittent rainfall tomorrow,” he added.
Weather system of Sindh weakening gradually, now also producing rains in Balochistan. Risk of flash flooding in local streams and barsati nullahs of Dadu, Khuzdar, Sibi, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Loralai, Bolan and Awaran districts today.
