Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez has been appointed an honorary life member by the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC).
The former all-rounder has been conferred the honour in recognition of his illustrious career. It should be noted that Muhammad Hafeez is the 25th Pakistani to become an MCC life member.

Around 23 former Pakistan cricketers and two non-playing personalities are honorary life members of MCC.
Among the non-playing personalities are Arif Abbasi and Ehsan Mani who received these honours in 1991 and 2003 respectively. Inzamam-ul-Haq was the last MCC Life Member who was given the honour in 2019.
