Pakistan’s mixed martial arts fighter Anita Karim thanked her fans for the support after she won a fight against an Australian opponent in Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium.
Karim, who hails from Gilgit-Baltistan’s Hunza, fought against Uyen Ha under the banner of Fairtex Fight Promotion in the bantamweight category in Bangkok.
She remained dominant over her opponent during three rounds of the match. Karim posted her video of winning the fight on her Twitter account. She expressed gratitude for winning another accolade for Pakistan.

Earlier, her brother Uloomi Karim who is also a professional MMA fighter proudly shared her success in a tweet.
Animal Karim, whose first professional fight was in 2018, is the only woman among the more than 300 professional MMA fighters in Pakistan. She comes from a family of MMA fighters. Anita has been training in Fairtex Training Centre, Pattaya for a couple of years.
Anita rose to fame after defeating Indonesian opponent Gita Suharsono in One Warrior Series (OWS) back in 2019. She is also known as the ‘arm collector.’
