The wait is finally over for Mirzapur fans. The trailer of Mirzapur: The Movie is out, giving audiences a first glimpse of the much-awaited theatrical chapter of the popular crime franchise about eight years after it arrived on Prime Video.
Produced by Excel Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, the film is scheduled to release nationwide on September 4, 2026, in Hindi and Telugu.
The trailer brings back several familiar faces, including Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit and Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi, alongside Jitendra Kumar and Ravi Kishan in key roles.
Kaleen Bhaiya reiterates the harsh regulations of Mirzapur’s throne in the opening scene of the trailer. He believes that the gaddi is neither inherited nor acquired via political means. It is maintained by dread and acquired thru bahubal, or pure physical might.
Moreover, he implies that a person’s destiny becomes inextricably linked to death the instant they ascend to the throne.

The next two minutes or so are filled with fights, gunshots, power struggles, and the distinctive dialogue-heavy tone that contributed to the original series’ success in popular culture.
It should be noted that Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment announced the theatrical film following the success of Mirzapur Season 3, taking the franchise beyond its OTT roots and into a larger cinematic format.
One of the biggest attractions is the return of Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyenndu. His comeback has already generated considerable excitement among fans, while Kaleen Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit remain at the centre of the franchise’s power struggle. The cast also includes Rasika Dugal, Abhishek Banerjee, Shriya Pilgaonkar and others.
