KARACHI: The campaign against the coronavirus under the leadership of Chairman DMC Korangi Syed Nayyar Raza has been running more effectively in the Korangi area.
In view of the improvement of cleaning in the district, measures against the virus and the establishment of a clean environment in all the areas of Korangi district is being ensured, as well as the spraying chlorine water in areas is also being guaranteed.
Recently, all the union committees had sprayed chlorine water in the Shah Faisal colony and its mosques and imams and trade centers as well as in the streets and palaces to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
On the other hand, the chairmen of the union committees, Vice-Chairmen and wards councilors are in the process of implementing precautionary measures against the Coronavirus. Municipal officers and staff are diligently performing their duties during lockdown to solve public issues.
In this regard, Chairman Municipality Korangi said that during the lockdown, we would continue the non-stop local activities in the district limits only. The municipalities were providing facilities to the people by continuing their activities and steps were also being taken to combat the virus, he added.
Syed Nair Raza instructed the officers of all the departments of Municipality of Korangi to continue the cleanliness process in all areas. To ensure a healthy environment, the spraying process should also be ensured with full monitoring, Raza added.
