Pakistan’s famous actress Maya Ali has broken her silence about being single, revealing the reason why she is not married, even though her younger brother has tied the knot, as reported by national media.
According to a report, the actress recently appeared on a private TV channel’s special Ramadan show with her cousins, where the host asked her about her marriage.
In response to the marriage question, the actress said, “My mother strongly wishes for me to get married, and she prays for my marriage in every prayer, but it is quite difficult to explain to elders that I cannot marry just for the sake of it.”
Maya Ali further stated, “When the right time comes, a good person will enter our life, and we won’t even realize it. We talk about religion and faith, so why don’t we believe that everyone has a specific time for marriage, and when that time comes, everyone will get married at the right moment?”
The actress also shared that during her brother’s wedding, she was asked the same question: “Since my younger brother got married, why haven’t I?” She was surprised by the question, stating, “The time for marriage is already set, and when I meet a good person, I will get married.”
During the conversation, Maya Ali expressed her preference for a life partner, saying, “I will choose someone who respects my mother, understands my work, and understands me. A person who gives a woman the importance she deserves; I would have no hesitation in marrying such a person.”
