ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb Tuesday resumed her anti-PTI broadside by calling its chairman Imran Khan an ‘absolutely fraud’.
Addressing a press in the federal capital, she continued her verbal attacks, saying that the people should save themselves from the ‘absolutely fraud and foreign-funded Fitna’ (Imran).
Marriyum Aurangzeb, referring to President Arif Alvi’s recent TV interview regarding the Cypher conspiracy, claimed that the President, who once held the post of Secretary General of PTI, had declared Imran Khan a liar and endorsed that this person speaks nothing but lies.
It is pertinent to mention here that the President had taken strong notice of the twisted facts presented in the interview.

A press note issued by the Presidency reads, “in his interview, the President clearly said that he had suspicions about a conspiracy, but, of course, certainty could only be established after a thorough investigation was done.”
Marriyum Aurangzeb alleged that Imran Khan, she said, spent his complete energy on creating narratives to cover up his “thefts, hypocrisy and lies” by misleading the public.
She said Imran had assumed that the people would start believing “the lies and accusations” if the same were repeated ad nauseam.
However, “this drama will come to an end when the people will start realizing that he is a liar and ‘foreign-funded Fitna”, she added.
