KASUR: A man killed his wife after he went to her parent’s house to reconcile over a domestic dispute.
The incident took place in Jammatpura area of Kasur within the precincts of B-Division police station. The man’s disgruntled wife had left her house after a domestic dispute and was staying at her parent’s house for the past two months.
The man named Muhammad Chand went to his in-law’s house to reconcile the difference with his wife Sania Bibi.
His mother-in-law left them and went to the market to buy some items. The husband attacked his wife with a sharp object killing her on the spot and fled from their home.
Police reached the site on the incident and have collected evidence. A case has been lodged on her mother’s complaint but no effort has been made to arrest him.
