Man killed, son wounded in Karachi’s Azizabad shooting

KARACHI: A firing incident inside a house in Azizabad Block 8 on Tuesday left one man dead and his son injured, police said.

According to officials, the deceased was identified as Samiuddin Rahmani, while the injured was named Fasih Rahmani. Both were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment and postmortem formalities.

Police said the condition of the injured does not allow him to provide a statement at this time.

Evidence is being collected from the scene, and the incident is being investigated from all possible angles.

Responding to media queries, officials said efforts were also underway to determine who opened fire and the motive behind the attack.
