Akon’s warrant originated in Roswell, Georgia, after police discovered two months ago that he had been driving with a suspended license. The Roswell Police Department stated that in September, the rapper had been stranded on the road when his Tesla Cybertruck battery died.
After his car was towed, officers learned his license had been suspended due to a failure to appear in January 2023. He was issued a citation, his license was confiscated, and an illegal vape found in his center console was seized.
