WASHINGTON: The imposed lockdown in the US is expected to be lifted by the summers in order to resume the business activities once again.
White House health advisor Anthony Fauci in this regard said that America cannot be reopened overnight due to the threat of a further number of cases of COVID-19, but the country’s normal routine could be running again by June, he said.
While providing citizens adhere to social distancing guidelines and widespread stay-at-home orders, Anthony Fauci said that Americans will remain in a virus-induced lockdown throughout April.
Earlier, Fauci said, “As a society, just forget about shaking hands,” he said. “We don’t need to shake hands. We have got to break that custom. Because as a matter of fact, that is really one of the major ways that you can transmit a respiratory illness.”
