Following the recent honey trap case involving renowned writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, another young man has fallen victim to a similar scam in Lahore. The police have busted the gang involved.
According to police reports, the victim, Hamza, befriended a girl named Kainat, who lured him to her flat under the pretext of having breakfast together. When Hamza arrived with the breakfast, three other individuals entered the flat along with him.
The police revealed that the accused not only assaulted the victim but also robbed him of his cash and mobile phone, while the girl recorded videos of the incident on her phone.
Based on Hamza’s complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused, initiated an investigation, and taken the suspects into custody.
Last month, KRQ was similarly honey-trapped in Lahore by a young woman and her male accomplices. The police have arrested the gang following a complaint by the artist.
