Experts and analysts believe the development would serve as a blow to the PML-N ahead of elections which are scheduled to take place in Punjab and KP following the dissolution of two assemblies. The country is also scheduled to go into general elections later this year as tenure of the current National Assembly ends in August.
In a tweet, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has termed the Mr Hasnat’s decision to join PTI “very important”.
