Renowned writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar recently disclosed that he is not on talking terms with Mehwish Hayat. Despite their collaboration on several projects such as “Punjab Nahi Jaongi,” “London Nahi Jaunga,” and “Teri Meri Kahaniyaan,” the acclaimed writer, known for his silver screen collaborations with Mehwish, admitted to a strained relationship with the actress.

During a guest appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar expressed his displeasure with Mehwish. He claimed credit for getting her cast in “Punjab Nahi Jaungi,” having advocated fiercely with the director and producer on her behalf. However, tensions arose when Mehwish declined to work with him in his film “Kaaf Kangana,” leading to a fallout between them.

Asim reportedly died by suicide in Tulamba, Punjab. Reema shared a photo of her meeting with Tariq on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt caption. In her post, she wrote, “I met the venerable Maulana Tariq Jamil Sahib to express my condolences on the sad demise of his beloved son. The lesson conveyed by Maulana Sahib and his family was to submit to Almighty God under all circumstances and accept His will.”
