Karachi: K-Electric (KE) has announced a scheduled maintenance shutdown across several parts of Karachi on 13 June, with electricity supply expected to remain suspended for varying durations as the utility undertakes network improvement and maintenance works.

According to the schedule issued by KE, power supply will be temporarily interrupted on more than 35 feeders and RMUs across different areas of the city. The maintenance activity is aimed at ensuring network reliability and improving the overall performance of the power distribution system.

Among the feeders scheduled for shutdown from 8:00am to 6:00pm are Ambaji Villa RMU, Aminabad, IBA-2, Kyani Shaheed (IBA-1) and Makkah Square (Johar Road). Meanwhile, Class-4, L-Area RMU, NESCOS, Umair Ali RMU and Khursheed Homes are also expected to remain without electricity during the same period.
