The Buckingham Murders, Kareena Kapoor’s latest film, is generating a lot of excitement among fans and will be released in both Hindi and English versions.
Kareena Kapoor plays a detective sent to look into the death of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire in this suspenseful thriller directed by Hansal Mehta.
The film is written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, and is produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films, alongside Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor.
The story follows Jasmeet, a detective and grieving mother, who, after losing her own child, must solve the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire. As she delves deeper into the case, she uncovers a web of secrets, with nearly everyone in the small town falling under suspicion.

Kareena Kapoor recently shared a video on Instagram, introducing the characters from the upcoming thriller. Reflecting on her role, Kareena said, “This is the first time I’m playing a detective, and as a huge crime drama fan, I loved the part.” She also admitted that portraying the character was challenging due to the emotional depth required, calling it a “career-defining role and one of my best characters.”

The Buckingham Murders is set to hit cinemas on September 13.
