Karachi: Two accused were arrested by Malir police during combing operation in the district in view of increasing incidents.
According to the details, the Malir police conducted a combing operation to search for the criminal elements, during which habitual criminals were arrested. SSP Irfan Bahadur said that 2 wanted addicts Farhan and Ashfaq were also caught by the police.
Weapons were also recovered from the possession of the arrested accused Ashfaq Khan and Farhan Ali during the combing operation.

SSP Irfan Bahadur further said that women police officers also participated in the combing operation. During the operation, raids were conducted in the limits of Bin Qasim police station. Suspicious houses were searched in Sindhigoth, Papri and Shah Latif Town.
He said that during the search, more than 85 houses were searched and the details of 49 people were checked. It should be clear that there has been an alarming increase in crime in other areas of Malir district including Gulshan-e-Hadid, Steel Town and Shah Latif Town.
