In Karachi’s F.B. Area, a geyser blast completely destroyed a house, injuring four individuals, including three women, as reported by national media on Saturday.
According to details, the explosion occurred in Block 2 of Azizabad, leaving four people injured, including three women. Rescue authorities have confirmed that the blast caused the house to be completely destroyed. The reasons behind the explosion and further details are yet to be revealed.
Earlier, Karachi has witnessed a rising number of tragedies caused by geyser blasts, gas cylinder explosions, and factory fires, leading to devastating loss of life. Poorly maintained gas appliances, faulty installations, and lack of awareness about safety measures have contributed to frequent geyser and cylinder blasts in residential and commercial areas.
Many incidents occur due to gas leakage, which, when exposed to a spark, results in massive explosions, destroying properties and leaving people severely injured or dead. Despite repeated accidents, there is little effort to regulate or enforce safety standards for gas appliances in homes and businesses.
