NEW DELHI: Renowned batsmen Kane Williamson and David Warner joined hands with their Indian Premier League (IPL) Muslim teammates and decided to fast along with them.
Afghan spinner Rashid Khan shared the video on his Instagram account in which he can be seen interacting with Williamson and Warner at what seems to be a restaurant where the cricketers may have gathered to break their fast.

In a video, Warner can be seen smiling at the camera expressing how the fasting period has made him thirsty and hungry at the same time. On the other hand, Williamson had mentioned how great he felt while fasting.
Rashid asks the two batsmen to share their experiences. “Good, but I am very thirsty and very hungry, my mouth is so dry,” said Warner before laughing. Kane Williamson, who is yet to feature in IPL 2021, said, “Very good, thanks.”
“These two legends are having a fast today. It is a pleasure to have them at the table,” said Rashid Khan. On his Instagram video, Khan captioned the post by writing: “Aftari. These two legends were fasting with us today”.
Williamson is currently playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, which is captained by Warner. Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mohammad Nabi, and Khaleel Ahmed, as well as Khan, are also members of the same team.
