JUI leader Maulana Sherzada gunned down in Karachi

JUI local leader and prayer leader was gunned down in Karachi’s Orangi area on Monday morning when he was going to lead morning prayer from his house.

According to police, victim was identified as 40 years old Maulana Sherzada who was Naib Ameer of JUI in UC 4 Mominabad Town in Karachi.

He was resident of Pathan colony in Banaras area. According to police, Maulana Sherzada was going to mosque for morning prayer when unknown assailants targeted him. He was student of Jamia Aloomia Banoria Karachi and was JUI activist.

Police have started the investigation.

JUI leader Maulana Sami Swati has condemned the target killing of Maulana Sherzada and lamented that Sindh government was keep quiet on the killing of religious leaders.

He demanded of the government to arrest his assailants.
