PESHAWAR: Jamaat e Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has announced to launch a movement against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led government from November 1st.
Talking to journalists in Peshawar, Sirajul Haq said that his party will announce the schedule of its protest movement on October 23. “We will launch its protest movement from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,” he added.
JI Chief further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was making his every speech in a manner as it would be his last speech. “The prime minister has disappointed the entire country, the government has only made claims so far,” he added.
Referring to the opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement, he said that the old and new rulers were fighting for their turns in government and the rulers’ attitude has posed threat to the democracy in the country.
Meanwhile, the 11-party opposition is holding its second power show in Karachi today (Sunday), under the banner of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), hosted by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz and JUI-F Cheif Maulana Fazlur Rehman arrived at Bagh-i-Jinnah.
