RAWALAKOT: Retired Pakistan Army soldier Naseem Kayani has alleged that his son was abducted and assaulted by members of banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Rawalakot.

Speaking at a press conference at the National Press Club, Naseem Kayani demanded that the government secure the immediate release of his son Dilawar Kiani and take legal action against those involved.

Naseem Kayani, a resident of Rawalakot, said his son was targeted by individuals linked to the banned committee. He claimed Dilawar Kayani was beaten, robbed and then abducted.

He warned that if any harm comes to his son or any other family member, the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) will be responsible.

Family members at the press conference said they are being harassed and threatened. They said their only fault is being patriotic Pakistanis. They also alleged that private photos and videos were taken from Dilawar Kayani’s mobile phone and shared on social media.

The family has appealed to the authorities to intervene and ensure Dilawar’s safe recovery.
