One of the guests, who appeared in host Nida Yasir’s viral ‘Formula 1 car’ video, has claimed that Nida should have done her homework and research before inviting a guest to discuss a specific topic.
Lately, we have been seeing a lot of buzz related to famous host Nida Yasir whose old video went viral. Nida Yasir had in 2016 invited students Abdul Aleem and Mohammad Shariq Waqar from the National University of Sciences and Technology to her show ‘Good Morning Pakistan’ after they made an electric ‘Formula 1’ racing car for a US-based competition.
Yasir, however, seemed to have misunderstood the meaning of ‘Formula 1’, as she went on to ask a number of bizarre questions to her guests. In the video, she is seen asking, “How many people can be seated in the car?”. The students did try to explain that the car can seat only one person, however, she misunderstood him and asked, “So, right now you have started with a small, one-seater car.”

At one point, the students even try to explain that they have created a car and not a formula. “No, it’s a Formula car. We’ve made one. It’s a race car.” A short clip from the TV show went on social media again to which even Nida Yasir also reacted and apologized to her fans for the lack of knowledge before calling her guests on the show.
Now, one of the students named Mohamad Shariq Waqar on his Instagram account shared it was an unfortunate thing that the host conducted the interview without homework. He also rebuked the negativity against the video and condemned that Indian channels and Twitter users for using it in a humiliating way. According to Shariq Waqar, the public should promote and talk about the achievements of Pakistan.
