Islamic Ideological Council announces first fast on March 1

The Islamic Ideological Council in Austria has announced that the first fast will be observed across the country on March 1.

As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches, the splendor of mosques increases further. The administration of mosques in Austria has prepared the schedules for Taraweeh, Sehri, and Iftar prayers during Ramadan.

According to the Islamic Ideological Council Austria, the first fast will be observed on Saturday, March 1. The Islamic Ideological Council says that the Taraweeh prayers of the first fast of Ramadan will be offered on Friday, February 28.

It should be noted that in Pakistan the first Ramadan may fall on 2^nd March as the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission has predicted that the moon could not be sighted on the dust of 28 February so the first fast will be observed on Sunday, 2^nd March.

Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations may also observe the first fast on the first of March.
