Islamabad orders early market closures

Authorities in Islamabad have issued strict directives as part of an ongoing energy conservation campaign, ordering all markets, shops and shopping malls to close by 8pm.

According to a notification issued by the district administration, the rule will लागू throughout the week, including weekends.

Grocery and general stores, as well as all hotels and restaurants, must close by 10pm.

However, hospitals, medical stores, petrol pumps will be exempted from the new timings.
