The intriguing trailer of ‘The Strangers: Chapter 1’ has taken the internet by storm and everyone is wondering if it is a prequel or a new film.
Well yes, ‘The Strangers: Chapter 1’ is the prequel film to the 2008 horror movie “The Strangers.” The film featured appearances by stars Madelaine Petsch, Camila Mendes, and Lili Reinhart.
The movie is a part of ‘The Strangers’ a series that will continue with the release of a standalone prequel trilogy of films starting with Chapter 1, Two more sequels, Chapter 2 and Chapter 3, will follow.
The movie revolves around Maya who drives across the country with her longtime boyfriend, Ryan, as the pair begin a new life together in the Pacific Northwest. Along the way, their car breaks down in Venus, Oregon and they are forced to spend the night in an isolated Airbnb home. Through the night, they are terrorized by three murderous masked strangers.
The film stars Madelaine Petsch as Maya, Froy Gutierrez as Ryan, Rachel Shenton, Gabriel Basso, Ema Horvath and Ella Bruccoleri.
The movie will have its world premiere at Regal L.A. Live on May 8, 2024. It is scheduled to have a theatrical release on May 17, 2024. The movie will be released in Pakistan aswell.
