Famous actress Nadia Hussain’s husband, Atif Muhammad Khan, has been arrested on charges of a Rs540 million fraud, while the actress has allegedly fallen victim to an online scam.
According to a report, a fraudster impersonating an FIA officer demanded a hefty bribe of Rs30 million from Nadia Hussain. The actress shared the entire incident on her social media account.
Nadia Hussain stated that an alleged FIA officer asked for a huge bribe in exchange for her husband’s bail, who was arrested on financial fraud charges. The fraudster told Nadia Hussain that all matters had been settled with her husband and that she should transfer the money to him.
The scammer tried to intimidate and pressure Nadia Hussain into keeping their conversation confidential. However, she publicly exposed everything on social media. FIA has confirmed that an investigation is underway.
So far, the identity of the person who called Nadia Hussain demanding money remains unknown, nor has it been clarified what connection this individual may have with the actress or her husband. Meanwhile, her husband remains in FIA custody under investigation.
